As a recognized accrediting agency by the U.S. Department of Education, and in accordance with ACME’s policies and procedures, we invite interested parties to submit written third-party comments concerning the qualifications of midwifery programs that are seeking ACME accreditation. ACME provides three levels of accreditation: preaccreditation, initial accreditation, and continued accreditation. The three institutions listed below are seeking preaccreditation, initial accreditation, or continued accreditation for their midwifery education program and will be evaluated by the ACME Board of Review in February 2021.
Third-party comments must be specific, detailed and reference the related ACME criteria. Respondents are encouraged to review the ACME criteria for the applicable accreditation type. Type: Continued Accreditation
Fairfield University, Egan School of Nursing and Health Studies
